Pilates has soared in popularity as an exercise program because it really works. This class starts with the basic beginning mat program which focuses on strengthening the abdominals, the center of the body from which all movement generates. Maria Gitana incorporates movement gathered from a lifetime of dance experience to create a program that focuses on anti-aging. Pilates, ballet, a touch of yoga, and flamenco combine to create a program that is highly effective and enjoyable.
